The diary page is customised to show the classes that you teach on that day.
There is lots of space for you to type in your lesson plan for each period/class and to plan the issue of homework. As a special feature the previous lesson you taught for that class is automatically brought forward and displayed as a reminder.
Additional notes and reminders are brought into your diary page from the yearly calendar and displayed at the top of the page. You can always add extra memory joggers in the space provided.
Navigation
From the front cover of the Teachers Planner, with one click you can move to the diary page for today, tomorrow, or you can choose a specific date.
A single button click moves you on to the next day or back to the previous day. Weekends, holidays and non-teaching days are clearly differentiated.
Add a Link
A fantastic feature of the daily diary page is 'add a link'. This allows you to link your lesson summary for any particular period on any day to detailed notes, an interactive whiteboard flipchart or a website. Everything at your fingertips just when you need it.
You can now even add a link to the day's notes. This is especially useful when you need to refer to that emailed list of pupils on a trip or the agenda/minutes of an important meeting.
Quick Lists
A recent addition to the diary page is quick lists. These are handy "to-do" lists which are carried forward day to day and allow you to organise and plan your priority tasks.
